December,2001
Jefferson's story begins in May,2001, When after hobbling around on
a broken leg for several days, finally broke though the fence of some angels.
Turns out he had found his way in the yard of some angels that work
at Emory Animal Hospital
. There he had the needed pins in his broken leg and stayed for 4 months.
IN september, 2001 he was taken to the K.K.A.C.
for adoption.
We watched him for a few weeks, while cute puppy after cute puppy got
a home.
I even peeked in on him at night when they were closed and there he
was just Happy to be safe and well. one ear up and one down (His usual
look).
We decided that we should and finally make our family compete.
His very first night, much to my surprise, he was helping me feed the
ferrets.
His papers say he is a Beagle/Fiest mix. From what I had read on the net
about a Fiest, he seems to lean toward that type of personality. Though
he would probably tree a Squirrel, he is very care taking and his highlight
of the day is helping me play with the Ferrets.
Here he is playing with, Hope on his second night home.
