The "fine folks" didn't have the kindness to stop the car, much less,
place a free add in our local newspaper. So after screaming "stop the car", to my wonderful partener, in life,
Chris, I got out and went to the edge of the bridge, where the poor
little thing sat, all scrunched up, and, crying. When I called her she, Immediately jumped in my arms, to live with us
forever safe and loved. This past Christmas, I had strong fantasies of putting her pictures in
our local paper, or sending the to the "fine folks" that loved animals so
much that they didn't even bother to have her mother spayed. Now thanks to the world wide web, I have the chance to to share her story with
all of cyber space. We named her Bridgett due to the way she came into our lives. What a blessing this little angel (now on a diet, because she weighs
over 20 lbs...) has become to us. She now resides with her pal Rampage the ferret, Jessica
my pet rabbit, LittleOliver, TWO CASES FOR HAVING YOUR PETS SPAYED OR NEUTERED!!!! Our home is kind of full now, and we hope it will be that way for many
years to come. My thanks go out to to Freeservers.com, for making this possible, and, to
my loving husband, Chris, who loves animals as much as I do!
UPDATE Nov,2001.
Rampage went to the Bridge early this year. He will be sadly missed.
BRIDGETT'S STORY
One day in MAY,1998, While returning home from
our favorite pet store, I saw the car, up in front of us ,throw a
purrr-fect little black and white kitten, out of the driver's side
window!
a kitten that showed up
at our door just last week (June,1999).
We have adopted two more ferrets, a kitten and a dog. Look for their stories soon!
